by the SBA to assist small businesses through low cost, fixed rate
commercial real estate financing in partnership with the SBA and

funds accessed through the Main Street Program the Child Care
Facility Fund. Requirements are lengthy; the application process is

• Hanford Area Economic Investment Fund Committee has
funds available for for-profit industrial, commercial and service
businesses. Funding is to support job growth in the area and
enhance the local economy and economic diversification. Funding is
available for working capital, R&D, land purchase, new building

• USDA Rural Development provides loans and grant
programs to help the needs of rural communities. They provide
Business and Industry Guaranteed loans for providing jobs. This is
similar to SBA guaranteed loans but is geared specifically for
